Pre-Use Instructions

Each pen must be primed to remove air before its first use. Follow these steps carefully — failure to prime the pen may result in inaccurate dosing.

STEP 1 • INITIAL USE

Prime the pen.

Before initial use, ensure all air is removed from the pen. Attach a pen needle and depress the plunger by 60 clicks, or until solution comes out. Do so carefully in increments of 20 clicks.

STEP 2 • SUBSEQUENT USE

Re-check before each dose.

Each subsequent use, ensure all air is removed from the pen. Do so in smaller increments of 1–2 clicks until solution appears at the needle tip.

The 60-click priming sequence is consumed by the device and is not part of your effective dose. Per-click conversions in the dosage guide reflect the post-prime delivered amount.
